Cub Scout Dens
Cub Scout Dens
In the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), a Cub Scout den is a small group of boys or girls who are in the same grade level and are working on earning the same rank in the Cub Scout program. The den is led by a den leader, who is usually a parent or other adult volunteer, and may also have assistant den leaders and other adult volunteers. The den meets regularly, usually once a week, to work on activities and requirements for advancement in the Cub Scout program. The den is a key part of the Cub Scout experience, as it provides a supportive, age-appropriate environment where boys can learn and grow.
