Wolf Dens are for children in the second grade (or who are 8 years old). In a typical Wolf Den, children will work on earning their Wolf rank, which is the third rank in the Cub Scout program. The children will participate in a variety of activities designed to help them develop character, learn new skills, and have fun.
Some of the adventures that Wolf Scouts might work on include:
"Call of the Wild": This adventure helps the children learn about the outdoors and the environment. The children will learn about different plants and animals, and will participate in activities to help them appreciate and care for the natural world.
"Paws on the Path": This adventure focuses on personal growth and goal-setting. The children will learn about setting and working towards personal goals, and will reflect on their own strengths and areas for growth.
"Running with the Pack": This adventure helps the children learn about teamwork and cooperation. The children will work together to plan and carry out a service project, learning about different roles and responsibilities along the way.
In addition to working on these adventures, Wolf Scouts will also participate in den meetings and larger pack meetings, and may go on field trips and outings to learn about the world around them. The den leader will work with the children to plan and carry out these activities, and will help them track their progress and complete the requirements for earning their Wolf rank.
